Louisiana is the reason Mr. Ronnie Van Zant among others is dead (if you use the butterfly effect theory I guess.) Their plane was headed to the capital, Baton Rouge, for a show at LSU. They never made it. One of my neighbors actually had tickets to that show. What a Bummer.

This is another legendary songwriting duo that i had chance a see but dropped the ball. It’s okay, I convinced myself that the gig likely sucked being that they are so old now. Besides, I hate outdoor music festivals—bands really can’t do anything with 30 - 45 minutes, at least good ones can’t.
